A New Way on Contemporary Design Development

中国目前的设计借鉴甚至抄袭西方的很多,这只是一种盲目的拿来主义,我们可以学习西方先进的现代的设计观念,而无需从形式上去照搬,这种照搬只会越来越失却本土自己的东西,跟着别人的步伐走。现代设计必须考虑如何能把握着现代文明与传统文化的传承游戏,如何使中国的设计更具民族性和本土文化的特性,这是中国设计走向世界的根本,也是立足世界的根本。

Chinese modem design has learned much and some even copied from the western countries, which is a blind borrowed method. We can learn advanced modem design concept from the western countries instead of copying from them, which may make Chinese design lack our indigenization and follow others＇ Step more and more. The modem design should focus on the combination of modem civilization with traditional culture and the question how to make Chinese design more national and domestic , which is the base for Chinese design to move forward the world and also maintain its position in the world.
