With the construction practice of cantilever-assembling the continuous box girders,at sea, of the non-navigational span of the Shenzhen Gulf Bridge connecting Hongkong and Shenzhen as a practical example, the precasting and transportation of sections, pier-side supports, side-span supports, and the precasting, erection and aligning of 0 # sections, etc. , are dealt with in the paper. It is expected to serve as a useful reference for the construction of other similar projects.
