摘要
近代以来,西方传教士怀着极大的宗教热情来到广西,但却面临着重重的传教阻力。为了更好地传播宗教思想,吸引更多人的加入,他们创办了教会女学。教会女学虽然其志不在教育,但客观上却揭开了广西女子学校教育的序幕,对广西女子教育的近代化产生了巨大的影响。
In modern times, the western preachers went to Guangxi with great enthusiasm, but they met with enormous obstacles. To transmit religion and attract more persons to join in, they set up women missionary school. Although their aim is not in education, their activity symbolized the beginning of Guangxi women＇ s education and brought great influence on the modernization of Guangxi women education.
