The 2008 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games are just around the comer. To analyze the status of the disabled in development of Olympic culture is of great significance for Olympic culture building and successful holding of Olympic and Paralympic Games. The paper explores special status of the disabled in development of Olympic culture through analyzing relationships between Paralympics and Olympic spirit, Paralympics and the humane Olympic as well as paralympics and harmonious society.
