英汉语之间定—谓语对立共性与差异性

The Universals and Individualities of the Attribute-Predicate Opposition Between English and Chinese

定、谓语之间存在着多方面属性和功能的对立。这种对立在句式语义、信息功能方面表现方式一致,表现为英汉语之间的共性,但是在进入条件和修辞功能方面却表现出相对的趋势,英语存在着定语偏向,而汉语存在着谓语偏向。

There is a wide range of oppositions between the attribute and the predicate. These oppositions represent themselves in the same way in English and Chinese when their construction meaning, informational function are concerned. However; these oppositions also display some individualities when their entry permission and rhetoric function are concerned- English is attribute-dependent while Chinese is predicate-dependent.
