构建社会主义和谐社会,需要社会的全面发展;社会的全面发展,最终要求人的全面发展;而人要全面发展,教育是关键的一环。人文素质教育是实施素质教育的主阵地,是提高人的全面素质不可缺少的环节,是推动社会全面发展的关键。就人文素质教育的内涵、人文素质教育在构建和谐社会中的作用,以及加强人文素质教育的途径等进行探析,强调了加强人文素质教育在实现高等教育目标、适应高等教育发展改革以及构建和谐社会等方面的重要意义。

It needs the overall development of the society to set up the harmonious society. The overall development of the society requests fundamentally the human＇ s overall development. But education is the key for the human＇ s overall development. The humanities education for all - round development is a main field that carries out the humanities education. It will be very necessary for the overall development of the human＇s character. The education also is a key to push forward the overall development of society. This paper discussed the content of the humanities education for all - round development, the function of the humanities education in the process of setting up harmonious society, and the ways which will strengthen the humanities education. It also emphasized that strengthening the humanities education will be very important to early out the target of higher education, and will be beneficial for the development and reform of higher education and constructing the harmonious society etc.
