魏晋时期皇权的衰弱是霸府与霸府政治频繁出现的重要原因。魏晋时期特殊的政治格局,为权臣控制军国大政提供了契机,有利于权臣确立霸府统治,从而为能够顺利地实现王朝禅代打下了坚实的基础。以曹氏与司马氏霸府的确立为基点,从不同的几个方面对魏晋王朝的禅让进行讨论。
