In the sluice concreting of the Suzhi Hydropower project, the scheme of sticking plywood on the large cantilever formwork is renovated. This paper describes in detail the application principle and structural features of plywood formwork and its layout during concreting the sluice. By application of plywood formwork, concrete appearance quality is improved, and experience in using plywood formwork is accumulated.
