侦查联想思维是指刑事侦查人员在侦查的过程中,根据所获取的有关材料和事实,由此案想到彼案,由此人想到他人,由偶然的启示推断出侦查线索的思维形式。侦查联想思维具有形象性、发散性、敏捷性、相关性和以印象与记忆为基础等特征。侦察联想思维有着提出侦查假设、重现犯罪过程、深挖犯罪、识别假案、突破破案僵局等重要功能。侦察联想思维有近似联想、相似联想、对比联想、因果联想等四种方法。

Association in the process of investigation asks investigators to associate one case with another case, from which a clear line of investigation is formed. Its characteristics include visualizing, diffusing, quickening, associating as well as impression and memory. Its functions include investigation hypothesis, crime recurring, criminal hunting, false crime knowing, case solving and others. Associations in the process of investigation involve in such associations of approximation, similarity, comparison and cause and effect.
