Objective To review the research status of chewing tablets, and to provide the reference for further research. Methods According to pertinent literature, the characteristic, prescription design, preperation technology, clinical application and prospect of chewing tablets were reviewed, Results Chewing tablets was practical, effective, convenicent tablets. Conclusion The research on chewing tablets, should be expanded for wide application in chinic and serving the patients preferably.
