摘要 以最常见的修辞格比喻为切入点,通过实例赏析,来领略广告英语中修辞手段所展示的语言美,并在此基础上探讨了广告英语翻译的基本原则,以期为英语广告的翻译和创作带来些许启示。 This paper presents the rhetorical charm of advertising English in the perspective of the most common figure of speech: simile and metaphor through the detailed analysis of quite a lot of typical examples; and goes further into the fundamental principles of translation about advertising English based on it, in the expectation that it can enlighten the translators and creators more or less as to advertisements in English.
