思维与语言有着密切的关系。东西方思维摸式在很多方面都不相同,这些不同充分体现在语言的表现形式上。本文剖析了英汉思维模式之间的本质差异,并分析这些差异对跨文化交际中语用失误产生的影响,略谈了在教学中如何避免语用失误的途径。

Pragmatic failure in cross-culture communication often results in communication failures, owing to the lack of cultural background knowledge. This paper discusses such teaching focuses on English cultural background ground ,value conceptions and customs in detail and recommends the attitude towards different cultures and conflicting senses of value.
