Community Construction with Focus on Social Development:Perspective of Social Capital

社会资本的培育和建造是检视社区发展的指针和向标,是社区发育的真正内涵,是社区总体营造成功之要素。社区的营造在于社会资本的培育和创造,是否推动以建造社会资本为主要战略是考察现代社区是否可能的核心构件;同时,社区可以说是社会资本的孕育生成处所,社区是社会资本的"子宫",没有社区就没有社会资本,社区和社会资本两者密切关联。我国社区的发展困境在于,由于社会结构的变迁和不稳定性、社会空间的极化和隔离所带来的社会网络的封闭性和同质性,社区社会资本出现不断弱化的趋势。社会资本的弱化,带来了我国社区的贫穷加剧现象。

The article makes a discussion on community construction from perspective of social capital.It argues that fostering and building of social capital is the true connotation of community construction,and the important factor of successful communi-ty.On the other hand,community is the suitable place for development of social capital.In China,the developmental predicament of community lies in the weakening tendency of social capital in community due to changes and instability of social structure,the closeness and homogeneity of social network for socio-spatial polarization and segregation.Therefore,weakening of social capital leads to the aggregation of poverty in communities.
