On Accelerating the Transformation of China's Economic Development Pattern

在美国经济萎缩带动全球经济增速放缓、我国出口增长放缓的新形势下,加快转变经济发展方式是中国的当务之急。本文对当前国内外经济形势进行了分析,从大力开发自然资源、基础工业优化升级、善用已有财力、重提西部大开发等角度提出加快转变经济发展方式的途径。

The ongoing economic recession in the U.S is driving the global economic slowdown, and there is a risk that China＇s export growth is slowing. To confront that challenge, in China, the most urgent task is to accelerate the transformation of the country＇s economic development pattern. This article analyzes the current domestic and international economic situations. In aid of speeding up the transformation of China＇s economic development pattern, it also gives some suggestions on vigorous exploitation of natural resources, optimization and upgrade of infrastructure industries, best use of existing financial resources, enhancing the west development campaign and so on.
