The Construction of Time and Space Mental Spaces’ Networks in Narrative Discourse Translation

认知语义学的研究越来越引起人们的关注,而认知语义学中的核心理论——心理空间和概念整合的跨学科应用也日益广泛。作为研究意义构建的心理理论与进行意义在语言之间转换的翻译的结合,似乎就成为一种必然。本文运用心理空间理论对叙述语篇中时间和空间概念的翻译问题进行探讨。

The study of cognitive semantics has roused more and more attention, and the transdisciplinary application of mental space theory and conceptual integration theory, the key theories in cognitive semantics, has been increasingly entensive and deep. So it seems to be natural and necessary to combine the study of mental space theory which studies meanning contruction with the study of translation which studies the conversion of languages. This thesis explores the translation of time and space concepts of narrative discourses by employing mental space theory.
