本文记录"鸟巢瘦身"事件的始末.同时分析设计师赫尔佐格&德穆隆(Herzog&de Meuron)事业中的一般性目标与在"鸟巢"项目中所采用的设计概念之间的差异.指出"鸟巢"方案在形体和概念上都是折中的结果。在此基础上,本文尝试分析造成这种情况的深层原因。

Abstract： This article records the cause and effect of the China National Stadium modification process, and meanwhile analyzes the difference between the general objective of Herzog ＆ de Meuron and their specific concept used in the design of the National Stadium. With this understanding, this article points out that final proposal was a double compromise both in the concept and in the form, and then tries to summarize the intricate reason behide it.
