According to the major sports venues space type and energy consumption characteristics, the author point that the starting points to reduce the stadium energy is to reduce lighting and air conditioning energy consumption. Furthermore, the paper elaborate the ecological energysaving design of Large stadiums from make full use of natural lighting and ventilation, the use of new energysaving building materials, using reasonable shading technology and development and utilization of renewable energy.
