This paper mainly argues on scientific realization of the strategic orientation of local colleges, and makes an analysis on the opportunities and challenges confronted with them in the visual field of the establishment of Socialism New Country. Besides, to explore how the local colleges or universities to put up their strategic orientation and mechanism innovation, and to exert their function of talent cultivation, scientific research and social service in the process of establishing a sound and long-term mechanism for local colleges to make contribution to the building of a new socialist countryside.
