竞技体育软实力以反映竞技体育水平的硬实力为基础,竞技体育水平越高,软实力的体现越重要。竞技体育软实力的核心内容包括竞技体育所创造的精神财富、竞技体育所包含的道德观念、竞技体育的制度安排和竞技体育的影响力。竞技体育的软实力通过训练与培养体制和方式等制度层面、竞赛过程和运动行为等操作层面、竞赛结果评判等价值层面、运动主体的形象树立和文化传播等文化层面体现出来。竞技体育是世界范围内最直接、最通用、最易为人所接受的语言,具有公开、即时、外显等特点。竞技体育体的过程和结果反映了国家的社会制度、发展模式、价值观念,国民的生活方式、意识形态、道德品质以及民族的文化传统,这就使得竞技体育的软实力具有综合反映国家软实力的功能。必须站在文化的高度完整地理解体育的内涵,竞技体育,只有当其"物化"、"人化"与"灵化"有机统一时,才是完美的。

The soft strength of competitive sports is the base of reflecting the hard strength of competitive sport level. The higher the competitive sports level is, the more important the expression of the soft strength is. The main concept of the soft strength of competitive sports includes the spiritual wealth created by competitive sports, the moral conception included by competitive sports, the arrangement of the system of competitive sports and the influence of competitive sports as well. The soft strength of compet itive sports is embodied through the system level, such as the system and methods of training and cultivation;the operation level, such as the process of competition and sport activities;valuation level, such as the evaluation of the results of competition ; and the cultural level, such as the establishment of the image of the sports ＇ main body and the cultural transmission. Competitive sports is the most direct, common and acceptable language in the world, featuring with the characteristics of openness, immediacy, obliviousness and so on. The process and results of competitive sports reflect the social system, developing form, people＇s value conception, life style, sense morphology, and moral characteristics of a nation, and the national cultural tradition as well, all of which enable the soft strength of the athletic sports possess the function of reflecting the soft strength of a nation comprehensively. Hence, the connation of the competitire sports must be understood on the cultural altitude comprehensively. Competitive sports would be perfect only when the materialization, humanization and spirituality united together organically.
