On Translatability-from the Perspective of Cultural Default

可译性不是绝对的,而是有限度的。文化缺省现象是导致可译性受限的一大因素。从文化缺省角度出发,探讨了可译性限度产生的理论基础以及缩小这一限度,顺利实现跨文化交际的策略。

Translatabihty is not absolute, but limited. Cultural default is one of the main causes of the limitation of the translatability. The paper analyses the theoretical basis of the limitation of translatability from the perspective of cultural default, furthemere, provieds some strategies that help to minimize the limitation and realize successful cross-culture communication.
