To Maintain Social Stability for the Sake of Tibetan People's Fundamental Interests

维护社会稳定是中国实现社会主义现代化发展战略的必要前提,是全中国人民的最高利益。西藏自民主改革以来经济和社会各项事业都有了飞速的发展,取得了举世瞩目的成就。但是,在西藏的改革发展中,始终存在着达赖集团分裂主义的干扰破坏,这成为影响西藏社会稳定的主要根源和心腹之患。因此,我们要深刻认识当前反分裂斗争的特点,与达赖集团勾结国际反华势力分裂中国、搞"西藏独立"的图谋进行坚决的斗争,切实做好维护西藏稳定的各项工作,以维护西藏的稳定和发展,维护祖国的统一和安全。

To maintain social stability is an important premise of realizing the socialist modernization and it stands for all the Chinese people's supreme interest. Since the democratic reform, Tibet has developed rapidly in economy and other social enterprises, achieving remarkable achievements. While during the process of Tibetan reform and development, the Dalai clique has been constantly disturbing and destroying which influences Tibetan social stability and remains always an internal danger. Therefore, we have to recognize the characteristics of the current anti- secession and fight determinedly against Dalai clique to maintain Tibetan stability and development, to maintain our country's unity and safety.
