摘要
将PubMed Central(PMC)引文分析结果与科学引文索引(SCI)相比较,分析PMC引文分析的功能,总结将PMC用于引文分析的特点及其应用。以2002～2006年艾滋病方面文献为样本,比较通过PMC和SCI两个数据库得到的半衰期、核心期刊、高被引论文等引文分析指标进行比较。经过分析两种数据库在半衰期和核心期刊的结果上差异不是很大,在高被引论文和高被引作者的方面差异很大。目前PMC在引文分析方面不能完全替代SCI,但是却有SCI所无法取代的优点。
The paper Compares the results of PMC citation with SCI, analyses the function of PMC citation analysis and summarizes the features and application when PMC is used in citation analysis. Based on the sample of literatures on AIDS from 2002 - 2006, compare the half - life, core journals, high cited papers and so on deriving from the two databases of PMC and SCI. After analysis of the two databases, there are more significant differences in high cited papers and high cited authors than in half-life and core journals. PMC currently can not completely replace SCI in the citation analysis, but has some advantages which SCI is absent.
