无籽西瓜新品种新优39号的选育

A new F_1 seedless watermelon hybrid——Xinyou No.39

新优39号是新疆石河子市蔬菜研究所2003年育成的中熟无籽西瓜一代杂种。通过品种比较试验、区域试验和生产试验,该品种表现优良,全生育期90d左右,果实发育期约33d。果实圆形,果皮绿底覆深绿色条带,光滑美观,厚约1.0cm;瓤色鲜红,质脆多汁,口感风味好,中心可溶性固形物含量11.4%左右;白色秕籽小而少。平均单果重4kg,667m2产量3500kg左右。综合性状超过对照。2007年2月通过新疆维吾尔自治区农作物品种审定委员会审定。

Xinyou No. 39, bred by Shihezi Vegetable Research Institute, is a mid season triploid seedless watermelon variety with good quality and disease resistance. Fruit matures 90 days from sowing and 32 days from flowering. The fruit is globe shaped with light green skin and deep green stripes. The flesh is red and juicy with central soluble solids contents 11.4%. The undeveloped seed coats are small and less in quantity. The average fruit is about 4 kg and the average yield is about 3 500 kg per 667 m^2.
