摘要
太平天国在长江中下游的军事活动使江浙、苏南一带的巨大财富和充裕的劳动力进入上海,促进了上海租界的繁荣、航运和贸易的兴旺。同时,房地产、消费服务业和钱庄业也大量发展,推动了上海迅速繁荣,走向近代化。
The military activities of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River caused great wealth and plenteous labour force move from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces to Shanghai, which made concession in Shanghai prosperity, shipping and trade flourish. At the same time real estate, cousumption service and private bank job developed greatly. All those made Shanghai prosperous and got modernized rapidly.
