稀土元素有独特的外层电子结构(不饱和的f轨道),使它具有很多特殊性质.稀土元素化合物在高分子材料合成、改性等方面可起到很好的作用.本文综述了稀土化合物作高分子聚会催化剂、用于高分子材料染色、填充塑料改性、作高分子材料稳定剂等方面的广泛用途及其可能的作用机理.

Due to the RE elements' f1-f14 outer layer electrons, the RE compounds have some very special properties. For this reason,the RE compounds have some positive effects in polymerization and modification of polymers. Some practical applications of the RE compounds in polymers such as catalyst, modifier and stabilizer etc. are presented, and the action mechanisms are also mentioned.
