摘要
美国加州最近立法制定了新的气污染物——甲醛释放量的控制措施,通过严限人造板及其制品中甲醛的释放量,来进一步保护环境和人类健康。本文概述了该控制措施制定的背景、适用范围、标准要求,并对主要国家和地区的检测方法进行对比分析;提出了我国人造板生产及深加工企业、相关贸易商和第三方认证机构需要配合的工作及建议。
In order to protect the environment and people＇s health, the California Air Resources Board （CARB） established an Airborne Toxic Control Measure （ATCM） to reduce formaldehyde emissions from wood-based panels and wood-related products. This paper introduced the background for the standard development, applicable scope, and formaldehyde emission standard requirements. Different testing methods for formaldehyde emission level were compared. The paper provided some basic information for manufacturers, distributors, importers, fabricators, retailers, and third party certifiers to meet ATCM requirements.
