特早熟高糖甘蔗新品种粤引1号的选育

Breeding of A New Sugarcane Variety Yueyin No.1

粤引1号系广州甘蔗糖业研究所1998年从美国引进的甘蔗新品系HoCP93-746,经9年种性试验选育而成的特早熟高糖甘蔗新品种。该品种特早熟高糖、高产稳产,萌芽快、齐,分蘖性较好,宿根性较强,抗旱性较好;中至中小茎,实心,前期生长较快,老叶较容易脱壳;据全部5年19点次新植、宿根试验结果,粤引1号平均蔗茎产量116817 kg/hm2、含糖量11306 kg/hm2、平均蔗糖分15.32%,分别较对照种ROC10增产蔗33.9%、增产糖39.1%,蔗糖分提高1.24个百分点;人工接种鉴定高抗黑穗病并对嵌纹病免疫;较适宜粤北、桂北及湘赣等霜冻蔗区中等或中等以上肥力的旱坡地或水旱田种植。

Yueyin No.1, a new sugarcane variety derived from HoCP93-746, which imported clone from America by Guangzhou Sugarcane Industry Research Institute （GSIRI） in 1998, wasbred through 9-year trials to identify characteristics by GSIRI. It is a high and stable cane yield variety with very early maturing, high sucrose content, showing fast and uniform germination, strong tillering, good ratooning, and drought-resistant, medium to medium-thin stalk, fast growth rate at the early stage and easy-stripping. Based on total 5-year test results from 19 trial sites including plant cane and ratoon cane, the mean cane yield, sugar yield and sucrose content of this variety were 116817 kg/ha, 11306 kg/ha and 15.32%, increased by 33.9%, 39.1% and 1.24% （absolute value） in comparison with the control variety ROC10, respectively. It is high resistance to smut and immune to mosaic disease by artificial inoculation. It is suitable for lightly upland or highland with moderate or high fertility and irrigation conditions in Northern Guangdong and Guangxi, Hunan and Jiangxi frost cane regions.
