摘要
分析哲学揭示了本体论和语言之间的紧密关系,我们能把什么当作存在的与我们在生活形式中对语言的使用有关。笼罩在有关存在之为存在的传统学说上的层层迷雾被罗素、维特根斯坦、斯特劳逊、蒯因等分析哲学家逐渐驱散,本文回顾他们在这一问题上的研究途径和贡献。
Analytical philosophy has exposed the intimate connection between ontology and language. What we think is in existence is related to the language that we use in our form of life. The dense fog covering the traditional doctrines about being as being has been gradually driven out by analytical philosophers such as Russell, Wittgenstein, Strawson and Quine. This article tries to review their approaches and evaluate their contributions to this issue.
