Regional Flood Disaster Losses Assessment of Poyang Lake Area Based on GIS Spatial Information Cells

区域洪灾损失评估不仅可以科学指导区域的防洪规划,还可以为区域土地利用规划和区域开发规划提供参考。在分析鄱阳湖区洪水灾害自然因素与社会经济发展因素关系基础上,利用社会经济空间展布方法,基于地理信息系统(GIS)技术设计了一套洪水灾害损失快速评估的技术方法,并把这套方法实际应用到鄱阳湖区洪水灾害损失评估中。以1998年特大洪水为例,运用此模型进行预测,评估值与实际值接近,评估精度较高。

Regional Flood disaster losses assessment can not only guide the regional flood control planning scientifically, but also provide the reference for the regional land-use planning and regional development planning. This paper designed valid and rapid methods for flood disaster losses assessment, based on GIS technology and use of socio-economic spatial distribution method and analysis of the relation between natural factors and socio-economic factors of Poyang Lake flood disasters. This method was applied to the flood disaster damage assessment in Poyang Lake area practically. Taking the devastating floods in 1998 as an example and using this model to predict the flood disaster losses, the assess value is close to the actual value. This assessment model was proved to be highly precise.
