建设新农村需要新型农民

建设社会主义新农村落点在“村”，重点在“农民”。农民的文化素质、技术能力和思想道德水平，直接决定新农村建设的兴衰，决定新农村建设的成败。要建设好新农村，必须把培养新农民摆在突出位置，在全面提升农民文化素质的基础上，培育“有文化、懂技术、会经营”的新型农民。首先培育新型农民的现实意义；其次农民整体素质不高，成为新农村建设的主要障碍；再次培育新型农民的有效途径。
