社区自组织机制自社区产生后就存在了,工业化、城市化以来世界范围内的社区自组织机制经历了一个发展和演化的历史过程。在"全能政府"失败与"万能市场"失灵并存的背景下,社区自组织机制日益为人们所重视。社区自组织机制的发育对转型时期中国的社区建设以及和谐社会建设具有重要的价值和意义,社区整合机制由以"他组织"为主导向以"自组织"为基础的转变,不仅是社区内源、可持续发展的关键,也是当代中国社会建设的微观基础。

There has been existing community self - organizing mechanism , which has experienced a process of development and evolution after industrialization and urbanization appeared in the world, since the community came into being in the ancient times. Under the circumstances of both government failure and market failure, community self- organizing mechanism has acquired much more attention than ever before. And its growth has great significance to both community building and social construction during the social transition period in China. So the transformation of community combining mechanism from heter - organizing base to self - organizing basis, is not only the key to internal genesis and sustainable development of community, but also the foundation of building harmonious society at microcosmic level. And all kinds of community builders should all do their best to do so.
