中西方文字表意表音的分化始于形声阶段。表意表音之别的内因是中西方语言不同的语音特点,外因是中西方不同的文明演进史。

The polarization of the Chinese and Western ideographs and phonograms started from the stage of echoism. The internal reasons of the two kinds of characters are because of the fact that the two kinds of characters have different phonetic features. And the external ones are the different evolvement of the two civilizations.
