Facing the predestined fate of living with illness for human being,philosophy has the essential significance in illness narrative. In philosophical term, this article will try to narrate illness under seven subtitles： order of illness, category of illness, reason of illness, discourse of illness, narrative of illness, disorder of illness, and facing illness, what have been left for us to do？ Through these dis- cussion, the article attempts to observe and explore the meanings of illness, and display its interplay with health in the philosophical world and human society.
