在干旱缺水地区兴修水利工程，经常需要容量较大的施工临时储水池，用完后即被废弃。若用钢筋混凝土结构的水池，费用高且设计、施工复杂；在景电二期延伸向民勤调水工程沙漠段施工中，采用了塑膜防渗简易水池，造价低廉，使用方便，取得了很好的效果。

Constructing irrigation projects in arid tracts generally requires large pools in storoge for extemporary use.It is a pity that the pools are discarded after used.If the pools with steel reinforcement and concrete sturcture,the design is complex,moreover,the construction is very difficult and the project costs are veny high.But in process of the construction of Jingtai's second Irrigation project by electric power which entends toward Minqin through the desert,plastic membrances are being widely used for storage pools to control seepage.This the initial pools costs have greathy reduced,and this type of pools is most convenient for use and very satisfactory.Marked economy has been gained by completing such simple pools.
