糖尿病性视网膜病变是糖尿病微血管病变常见而严重的并发症,在很大程度上导致不可逆的视功能损害或完全失明.VEGF在DR发生、发展,尤其在视网膜新生血管形成过程中发挥重要作用,本文就血管内皮生长因子与糖尿病性视网膜病变的关系进行综述。

Diabetic retinopathy （DR） is a common and severe complication of diabetic microangiopathy. To a large extent, it causes irreversible damage to the visual function or complete blindness. Vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） plays an important role in the development of DR and in the process of retinal neovascularization. In this article we reviewed relations between VEGF and DR.
