摘要
现代文明面对的矛盾与风险,以前所未有的规模和紧迫性向人类的理智提出了挑战。"社会工程"作为一种思维方式已经成为现代社会驾驭矛盾和风险进而把握世界的基本方式。历史从地域历史向世界历史的转变,民族国家向全球化社会的演进,现代社会的科学技术革命、信息化趋势等为以社会工程的方式把握世界创造了世界历史基础、主体能力前提和现代科技手段。社会工程通过整合人类谋求应对现代社会诸多风险与挑战的不同方式,创造了新的科学方法论。
The risks and contradictions faced by modern civilization have presented human reason with challenges of an unprecedented scale and unparalleled urgency. 'Social engineering' as a way of thinking has become a basic mode for modern society to deal with contradictions and risks and thus grasp the world. The transformation from regional history to world history, the evolution from national states to a global society, the modern scientific and technological revolution and modern informationization have respectively provided the world historical foundation, subject capability, and modern scientific and technological means for us to grasp the world using the social engineering approach. Social engineering has created a new scientific methodology by integrating different ways of handling the risks and challenges of modern society.
