改革开放以来,随着经济体制的转轨,社会结构的转型,产业结构的调整,中国社会阶层结构发生了新的变化。除传统的工人阶级、农民阶级和知识分子阶层外,新社会阶层正在逐步崛起和壮大,其影响力与日俱增,在各方面深刻影响着现行社会。在构建和谐社会的新时期,如何抓住这个机遇,迎接其带来的挑战,做好统战工作,就成为现代化建设的题中之义。实际上,只有依靠包括新社会阶层在内的统一战线,才能进一步扩大党的群众基础和执政基础,才能保持社会稳定与和谐,才能实现中华民族的伟大复兴。

Since the reform and opening up, the social strata structure has had the new change with the economic system transformation, the transformation of social structure, the adjustment of industrial structure.
