明清间在华的天主教传教士与俄国传道团有其相似之处即都促进了中西文化交流与欧洲汉学的发展,但两者更多的却是不同之处,主要表现在:两者来华的背景与目的上,两者在华事业的进展与结果上,两者来华人员的个人意愿、整体素质、地位、待遇及成员构成上等。

The catholic missionaries and Russian missionary group in the Ming and Qing Dynasty in China share a common quality of promoting the Sino-west cultural exchange and the formation and development of Sinology in Europe.But there are many differences between them,for example,their backgrounds and aims of coming to China,the development and the result of their causes in China.In addition,their members are also different in many aspects,for instance,the will,the quality,the status,the treatment,the composing,etc.
