串联式机械密封在液态烃泵上的应用 被引量:2

摘要 利用2007年春季气体分馏装置扩量改造检修的时机,对原料泵进行密封改造,并同时投用了数台使用双端面机械密封的液态烃泵。文章通过5号原料泵的改造和新泵的投用,分别从液态烃的特点及对机械密封的要求、串联式机械密封的结构特点、与单端面机械密封的比较优势、串联式密封投用后的效果等方面进行详细叙述。 Most of the pumps used for transpor- ting liquid hydrocarbon in gas fractionation unit having single mechanical seal since being were designed and manufactured in the past,which are facilitated to catch instable sealing effect from the reason of light liquid hydrocarbon and very easily to be vaporized.Liquid hydrocarbon is a flammable and explosive substance,if it exhausts to the atmosphere due to the invalid seal,it will be very dangerous to circumstance.In the same conditions,the tandem mechanical seal is much more stable,even if the inside seal fails,outside seal can still keep on working for several hours, and the divulged liquid hydrocarbon flow to the recycle system,which provides a safe circum- stance.This article gives an detailed description of the tandem mechanical seal using in the liquid hydrocarbon transportation pumps with the in- novation of mechanical seal used in the revamp of liquid hydrocarbon pump(5# ).
