中国是个地震频发的国家，而且时常有破坏力极大的强震发生。强烈的地震令江河改道，使山岭崩塌，从而阻断道路，毁坏房屋，更让成千上万的男女老少付出生命的代价。对于地震这种到如今都难以准确预报的自然现象，我们的先人旱就给予了足够的重视，而孔子这位博学多识的圣哲，不仅将先人关于地震的形象描述精心保存下来，
The Book of Songs is the earliest collection of poems in ancient China edited by Confucius. Previously, there were some 3000 poems scattered among the people.After deleting the repeated ones, Confucius retained 305 poems. In the poem The Turn of the Tenth Lunar Month in the chapter Xiaoya, there were valuable descriptions of earthquakes.
