真实孔子

The Real Confucius

“乡党”大约是《论语》中最不起眼的一章。与其他章节相比，它似乎没有什么博大精深的思想，甚至可以说只是一部记录孔子生活起居、待人接物的“流水账”，比如怎样对待乡邻，怎样对待君主，怎样对待同僚，怎样斋戒和沐浴，怎样穿衣、吃饭和睡觉等等。从时间上看，应该是在孔子多岁做了官以后。

The Native Village （Book X） perhaps is the most easily neglected chapter in The Analects. Compared with other chapters, it seems to contain no profoundthinking merely recording how Confucius lived and dealt with other people; information about such matters as how he used to treat the native villagers, the kings, and his colleagues; the way he used to fast and take a bath, to dress, eat and sleep.
