摘要
焦虑现象是二语习得过程中制约学习效果的重要情感因素之一。为了研究非英语专业大学生英语听力课堂焦虑的现状,文章通过自制量表,以问卷形式测试了合肥工业大学120多名非英语专业大二学生的听力焦虑程度。在对数据进行分析后得出结论:焦虑情绪在英语听力课堂中普遍存在,和听力理解的成效呈明显的负相关;应对策略的适当运用可以在一定程度上缓解这一情绪,从而提高听力。根据调查结果,还探讨了焦虑可能的成因并提出有效的教学手段和应对策略。
Anxiety is one of the important affective elements that prohibit students' effective learning in second language acquisition. In order to investigate the actuality of English listening classroom anxiety of non-English majors, the study is conducted among over 120 sophomores in Hefei University of Technology. Based on the statistical analysis of self-designed questionnaires, the paper comes to the conclusion that anxiety is pervasive in the classroom, and is negatively correlated with listening achievements; while proper use of coping strategies helps students to alleviate anxiety and improve achievements. The study also explores possible sources of anxiety and puts forward some teaching methods and strategies.
