Cultivating Students' Cross-cultural Communicating Ability in Foreign Language Teaching

分析了在当前多元文化与全球一体化并存的背景下,跨文化交际能力的重要意义;提出运用导入目的语文化、通过对比加深理解本族语与目的语间文化差异、情景教学与任务型教学相结合这三个教学手段,强化外语教学过程中对学生跨文化交际能力的培养。

The significance of possessing cross-cultural communicating ability against a backdrop of globalization and co-existence of many different cultures is discussed. Strategies to cultivate students＇ cross-cultural communica, ring ability are suggested as： introducing the cultural elements of the target strengthening students＇ understanding of Chinese culture and foreign cultures differences; combining task-based teaching with situational teaching.
