Problems with College Student Leaders under the New Situation and Strategies to Cultivate Qualified Ones

从新形势下高校学生班干部应具备的素质要求出发,分析了当前高校学生班干部队伍存在的主要问题,并提出了相应的培养策略,如建立科学的选任制度,加强思想教育和引导,健全合理管理制度,创造机会和搭建舞台,给予适当的关心和爱护,完善考核和激励制度等,认为这将对新形势下加强和改进高校学生班干部队伍建设和大学生思想政治教育工作具有一定的现实意义。

The problems with college student leaders under the new situation are pointed out against the qualities they should have. Strategies to cultivate qualified college student leaders are put forward, such as, establishing the scientific empanelling system, strengthening ideological education and guidance, perfecting rational management system, creating opportunities, granting proper attention and perfecting the examination and incentive system, etc. It is concluded that these strategies are of certain practical significance in strengthening and improving the construction of college student leader ranks and college students＇ ideological work.
