摘要
在对虚荣心含义进行概念阐释的基础上,对休谟情感论之虚荣心问题进行了认真的研究。分析了虚荣心的正负效应,并就如何利用虚荣心有利的方面,抑制不利的方面提出了自己的观点。
Hume＇s view on vanity is explored against the connotation of vanity. The positive and negative effects of vanity are analyzed. The ways to maximumize the positive effects while minimumizing the negative effects of vanity are suggested.
