执政党政治整合功能的最大特点是维系社会各阶层之间的协调与平衡,促进整个社会的有序和谐发展。中国共产党作为处于执政地位并推动社会力量整合的领导者,在构建社会主义和谐社会中,必须重视发挥党的政治整合功能,逐步提高对社会各阶层利益要求的吸收、整合、融合的能力,有效地化解各种显性和隐性的社会矛盾,以促进经济社会协调发展。
