提出了对黄河口地区的形势与河口治理的新认识和小浪底水库修建后河口地区面临的新形势，指出在今后河口的治理中，必须结合当地经济发展，使河口治理与泥沙利用相结合，泥沙利用与疏浚相结合，以支持黄河三角洲地区可持续发展．

In this paper the situation of the Yellow River estuary,the new realization of estu ary harnessing and the new situation after Xiaolangdi reservoir are constructed. For supporting the sustainable development of the Yellow River Delta the estuary harnessing must combine with economic development of delta and sediment usage,and sediment usage must combine with estuary drege.
