An Analysis of Dilemma of Japan's Old-Age Pension System

老龄化和少子化趋势给日本的养老金制度带来困境,日益降低的参保率将继续恶化日本的养老金体系。近年来,尽管日本对养老金体系进行了多次改革,但仍然不能满足未来养老金正常发展的要求。日本的养老金制度与日本的经济发展结构、人口结构乃至金融结构密切相关,因此日本养老金问题只是日本经济问题的最集中体现,它将成为日本经济发展的一个不容忽视的因素。

Aging population and low fertility have been bringing a great challenge to Japan＇s pension system. And the decreasing participation in this system will exacerbate the unresolved problems. In spite of many reform efforts in the field, the system is still far lag behind what is required in the future. The system in the country is highly associated with the structure of economy, of population and of finance. It is hence a factor which cannot be ignored in the country＇s economic development.
