摘要
研究了箔条云的极化特性,首先分析了单根箔条的电磁散射过程,得到了极化坐标系下单根箔条的极化散射矩阵和Mueller矩阵的表达式,给出了在不同收/发极化方式下箔条云散射截面的计算公式。对空间取向服从球面均匀分布的箔条云,推导得到了箔条平均RCS的解析公式;对空间取向服从正态分布的箔条云,利用数值积分得到了箔条平均RCS的近似值,并给出了根据被干扰雷达的收/发极化方式优选箔条空间取向的建议方案。
Polarization characteristics of a chaff cloud are investigated in this paper. At first, the polarization scattering process of a single dipole is described and the Sinclair matrix and Mueller matrix of a single dipole in polarimetric coordinates are derived. On this basis, the expression for average RCS of a chaff cloud is given for arbitrarily polarized transmitters and receivers. For chaff clouds with uniformly random orientation, the analytic formula of average RCS of is derived. For chaff clouds with normal random orientation, the approximate value of average RCS of is obtained by a numerical approximation to the integral. At last, an advised scheme is presented for how to select optimal chaff orientation distribution in according with radar's transmitting and receiving polarization.
