摘要
主要从建构语境知识,辨明交际意图和寻找语境线索三个方面探索语境在听力教学中的运用。建构语境知识,主要包括熟悉语言语境,建构情景语境和学习文化语境。辩明交际意图就是要根据言语功能判断出显性意图,进而参照情景语境和文化语境推断出隐性交际意图。寻找语境线索是有助于听力理解的有效途径。
The paper discusses the applications of context theory in English listening from the perspective of constructing the knowledge of context, identifying the communicative intention and finding contextual cues. Constructing the knowledge of context includes familiarizing linguistic context, constructing context of situation, learning context of culture. As to identifying the communicative intention, teachers may guide the students to judge the explicit intention by speech function and subsequently infer the implicit intention by context of situation and context of culture. Finding contextual cues is the effective approach in listening comprehension.
